Prerequisites, Requirements and Policies
Prerequisites do not need to be completed to apply but must be completed by August 1, just prior to matriculating at Johns Hopkins. Until successful completion of the requirements, acceptance is considered conditional. All coursework submitted in fulfillment of admission requirements must be evaluated on the basis of a traditional grading system.

Clinical hours: Planning to volunteer at hospitals/clinics and shadow physicians in the next year, probably around 100-150 hours. Research: Recently started research with a biochem professor, planning to continue for the next year+, hoping to get 2 & a half years total. Also will be presenting this research to judges after a year of working on it.

For example, you could get a BA in biochemistry, molecular biology, neuroscience, etc. at a liberal arts college that only confers BA degrees.
