High school seniors can apply for this scholarship program at Kenyon College which offers up to $15,000 per year of merit based aid. It is based off of your portfolio and does not take into account financial need, high school GPA , or other factors. Submissions typically have to be in by January of your senior year.

Barbara Caras Memorial Scholarship for Film Students

The scholarship is open to students in Sarasota or Manatee County, Florida who have completed at least one full year at an accredited Florida College and are majoring in Film, Computer Animation, Creative Writing, Motion Design, or Illustration. Five recipients will earn a $2,000 award. The application deadline is July 31st of the current year.

Lycoming College Creative Writing Scholarship

Four winners will be awarded $2,500 annually. Submission deadline is March 1, 2023.

Austin Peay State University Creative Writing Scholarships

How to apply

Undergraduate scholarships and bursaries, general eligibility criteria for an admission scholarship or bursary.

• Meet the admission requirements of the program you have been admitted to;
• Be enrolled full time for the first time in a university undergraduate program;
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or have protected person or refugee status (unless otherwise indicated)

Required averages to keep or renew a scholarship are rounded to two decimal places. For example, a student with an average of 8.49 would not be eligible for a scholarship that requires an 8.50 average. See academic  regulation A-3.3  for more information on calculating averages.

Note: Mature applicants and university transfers are not eligible for certain admission scholarships. Please review eligibility criteria carefully.

Description

The University of Ottawa offers this scholarship to provide financial assistance to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and those with protected or refugee status who were a victim, spouse or child of a victim, of the tainted blood tragedy in Canada between 1980 and 1989, inclusively. Applicants must be enrolled (full or part time) in a postsecondary program in a recognized Canadian institution, have good academic standing and demonstrate financial need. The amount of the bursary varies according to the number of applicants each year.  Applications (PDF, 227 KB)   and supporting documents must be given to the  Financial Aid and Awards Service  or sent by email to  [email protected] .

What are writing scholarships?

Writing scholarships are financial awards given to students based primarily on written work, though other factors are usually taken into consideration as well. Most writing scholarships involve a prompt or series of prompts to which applicants must respond. Some writing scholarships — especially those that award large amounts of money — require applicants to submit past writing samples, or even a full portfolio.

The good news is that, with so many writing scholarships to choose from, you don’t have to apply for any that are “out of your league.” Indeed, though most students have heard of writing scholarships, you may not realize just how many different varieties there are! Here are five of the most common types of writing scholarships, all of which you can find in this directory.

1. Personal essay scholarships

Personal essay scholarships involve writing on a topic related to your own experience. You’ll often see personal essay prompts like, “How have your experiences influenced your choice of major?” and “What are your career aspirations and how do you plan to achieve them?” Other prompts may ask you to write about a role model, a life-changing event, an aspect of your identity, etc. Suggested length is usually about 500-1,000 words, but varies depending on the level of detail requested and how many essay questions are provided.

Just about every scholarship these days has a personal essay component of some kind. This is because personal essay responses both demonstrate writing skills and give the judges a clear sense of each applicant’s goals. No one wants to throw away money on an aimless student — so if you’re applying for a personal essay scholarship, make sure to convey both your writing abilities and your ambitions in your work!

2. Critical essay scholarships

Critical essay scholarships are more in line with what students might consider  “academic” essays. The prompts typically ask applicants to analyze works of literature. However, unlike open-ended English class essays, most critical essay scholarships provide a very specific prompt (e.g. “Examine The Great Gatsby in the context of its World War II-era revival”).

Critical essay scholarships can also involve non-literary subject matter. Some may ask applicants to evaluate a historical event or figure; others may ask them to defend their stance on a political or legal issue. Though the line between critical and personal essays can sometimes blur, for the purposes of this directory, we define critical essays as those that use evidence from an external source to prove a point.

3. Short fiction scholarships

Short fiction scholarships include scholarships for short stories, one-act plays, poetry, and any other form of fiction that isn’t a novel or full-length script. Short fiction scholarships tend to be easier to find than long-form fiction scholarships, since most judging panels don’t have time to read more than a few thousand words per entry. Therefore, if you write fiction and you’re hoping to nab yourself a scholarship, this category is the way to go! (That said, if you’re a hardline novelist, some places will accept a sample chapter or two as short fiction entries.)

4. Journalism scholarships

Journalism scholarships are for students interested in pursuing a career in news, magazine, and/or online journalism. These scholarship applications almost always ask for writing samples to show the candidate’s interest. Depending on the organization, they may prefer topical news reports, informative articles, thinkpieces, or a mix. Some journalism scholarships provide a prompt and ask applicants to write a new article, but the focus is usually on samples. Speaking of which…

5. Portfolio scholarships 

Portfolio scholarships are the most rigorous kind of writing scholarship, requiring a substantial body of work from each applicant — usually 5-10 pieces of writing, if not more. The upside is that awards for portfolio scholarships tend to be pretty sizable, and may even cover your entire tuition!

If you decide to apply to a portfolio scholarship, make sure you have several strong pieces of work in your oeuvre, and consider writing a few new pieces as well. What you shouldn’t do is rush through a dozen new pieces to throw together as a portfolio. If you don’t have samples at the ready from previous assignments or projects, you’ll be better off applying to a less intensive writing scholarship.

Why apply to writing scholarships?

Applying to writing scholarships is a huge undertaking, especially if you’re pursuing multiple scholarships at once. It can sometimes feel like the effort isn’t worth it, or that you have little chance of actually winning any awards. But in truth, submitting to writing scholarships is one of the best investments you can make in your education, your creative writing skills, and your professional life.

Scholarships for larger amounts do attract more applicants, but that doesn’t mean they’re impossible to land — only that you have to work a little harder to stand out. And you can definitely sway the odds in your favor by applying to lots of small scholarships ($500 or less) for which you’ll have fewer competitors. Remember that every little bit helps! For example, if you plan on taking out student loans, even a $500 scholarship could save you much more in interest down the line.

Another compelling reason to apply to writing scholarships is that oftentimes, you’ve already done the work, or the work required is minimal. For scholarships that require writing samples, you’ll simply submit what you’ve already written in the past — and even for scholarships with specific prompts, you rarely have to write more than a couple of pages. If you were seriously committed, you could apply to a scholarship every day, spending a single concentrated evening on each application.

Jumping off that thought, as English majors love to say: the more writing scholarships you apply for, the better a writer you’ll become. Writing tons of scholarship essays will make you a much more creative and efficient writer. Not only will this help with your personal writing projects, but it will also be invaluable to your education and even your career! Writing is a crucial skill for every major — you’ll always have to write papers and emails to professors, after all — and even if you don’t plan to pursue a writing-based job, you'll still need writing skills to polish your résumé.

Finally, remember that there’s a writing scholarship out there for everyone, no matter what your interests or intended field. This directory includes plenty of creative writing scholarships, yes; but there are also personal essay scholarships for future doctors, lawyers, salespeople, and so much more. You have nothing to lose by giving it a shot, so why not start searching for your dream writing scholarship today? The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program

The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program awards more than $200,000 in assistance every year to college-bound students around the globe. Scholarships are awarded based solely on 550-word essays expressing applicants’ academic and professional goals and how their personal experiences will help them to accomplish those goals.

The U.S. scholarship program relies on approximately 450 dedicated volunteers around the country, with support from the Foundation’s office staff. U.S. applicants need not be Mensa members. However, college-bound Mensa members and their dependents may also be eligible for one of several $2,500 scholarships awarded each year through the Mensa Member Scholarship Program. Scholarship winners are notified in mid-June by mail and email.

The International Scholarship Program is open to international Mensans (other than American Mensa). One scholarship, which also includes dependents of international Mensa members, is for those attending college in the United States. The other scholarships are for international Mensans attending college other than in the U.S.

RE/MAX Canada Awards $16,000 in Scholarships

RE/MAX Canada has selected the recipients for its RE/MAX 2022 Quest for Excellence scholarship program, which awards 16 scholarships to students across Western Canada, valued at $1,000 each. The scholarships will be presented during the students’ school commencement ceremonies.

The annual RE/MAX Quest for Excellence program encourages graduating students from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories to submit an essay detailing the contributions they have made to their communities. The scholarship recipients have all demonstrated exceptional motivation, leadership and communication skills.

“More than 1,000 entries were received this year,” says Marie Sheppy, Manager, Media Strategies, RE/MAX Canada. “These astounding young adults have donated their personal time for the betterment of their communities which has made a positive impact and has enriched the lives of others.

“This year’s crop of students across Western Canada has shown incredible resilience and commitment to their communities, in the face of many challenges,” said Elton Ash, Executive Vice President at RE/MAX Canada. “RE/MAX is honoured to support these influential and inspirational students through the 2022 Quest for Excellence scholarship program. Student Essay Contest

The Fraser Institute hosts an annual Student Essay Contest to promote student participation in economic discourse on current events and public policy. This contest affords students the opportunity to have their work peer-reviewed and published early on in their academic career. In addition, we offer exciting cash prizes for the top five winning submissions!

The Fraser Institute’s 2024 Student Essay Contest is now closed. Thank you to all the students who submitted their work. We look forward to reading your essay and your contributions to economic and public policy discourse. Due to the volume of submissions, we will announce winning essays in early fall 2024. All participants will receive an email in regards to the status of their submission.

Undergraduate Scholarships

The Horatio Alger Association is dedicated to facilitating the educational aspirations of promising Canadian undergraduates through its scholarship services. These scholarships are tailored to alleviate financial burdens and open doors to higher education for students who have displayed resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

How it Works

Determine eligibility & apply, craft essay responses, connect with counsellor, connect with support form provider, submit documents.

• Review the section below to determine the scholarships for which you are eligible.
• By filling out one application, you will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.
• Click the Apply Now button to start your application.
• Describe your Horatio Alger story.
• Share your Canadian journey.
• Choose a Horatio Alger Member whom you admire and reflect on the opportunities they were presented in order to succeed.
• Enter your Counsellor’s email address so that they will receive a request to submit the Counsellor Certification Form on your behalf.
• Contact your Counsellor to ensure that they have received the request (sometimes school accounts block emails, so you may need to resend).
• Enter the email address of an adult over the age of 21 who is not related to you and is familiar with the adversities you have written about in your short responses (e.g. neighbor, family friend, counsellor, pastor, teacher, etc.). This individual will serve as your Support Form Provider and will receive a request to review and confirm the accuracy of the information you provided in your adversity section. 
• Contact your Support Form Provider to ensure that they received the request. Once your Support Form Provider completes their review, you will not be able to edit your adversity section.
• High School Transcript (must include your Fall grades)
• Income Verification (most often your parents’ tax form: if you have a unique situation and a tax form is unavailable, please refer to our FAQ section to determine alternative documentation)

By receiving a Horatio Alger Association of Canada scholarship, it felt as if a weight was lifted off of my shoulders so I was able to study without worry and reach my full potential as a student. Using my Chemical Engineering degree, I aim to contribute to reimagining issues faced by Indigenous people and those in Northern communities. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

Horatio alger national entrepreneurial scholarships .

Award Amount: 10 Scholarships at $10,000 each

Eligibility Requirements and How to Apply

The National Entrepreneurial Scholarships are awarded to eligible students across all provinces and territories in Canada. 

• Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and begin a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university starting Fall 2024
• Prove critical financial need ($65,000 or less annual net income per family is required) 
• Demonstrate desire and ability to be entrepreneurial in a chosen field 
• Be involved in co-curricular activities and community service 
• Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity 
• Maintain a minimum grade percentage of 70% 
• Be a Canadian citizen 
• Applicants for both the Entrepreneurial and Canadian Scholarships are required to fill out only ONE application. The Association will use one application to consider you for all programs for which you are eligible.
• The university application for current Grade 11 students is now closed and will open for Grade 11 students on December 1, 2024.

Canadian Scholarships 

Award Amount: 160 Scholarships at $5,000 each

Canadian scholarships are available for students in all provinces and territories in Canada interested in pursuing post-secondary education.

• Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and begin a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university starting Fall 2024
• Prove critical financial need ($65,000 or less annual net income per family is required)
• Demonstrate desire and ability to be entrepreneurial in a chosen field
• Be involved in co-curricular activities and community service
• Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
• Maintain a minimum grade percentage of 70%
• Be a Canadian citizen
• Applicants for both the Entrepreneurial and Canadian Scholarships are required to fill out only ONE application. The Association will use one application to consider you for all programs for which you are eligible. 

Fairfax Financial Entrance Awards 

• Plan to enroll full-time at one of the eligible colleges/universities* 
• Have graduated from high school or CEGEP within 18 months prior to applying 
• Demonstrate financial need based on government student loan assessment from their home province 
• Demonstrate academic readiness: minimum grade percentage of 80%
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
• Alberta: University of Calgary, SAIT Polytechnic 
• British Columbia: Simon Fraser University, University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, Capilano University, Douglas College 
• Manitoba: University of Manitoba, Red River College, Assiniboine Community College 
• Newfoundland and Labrador: Memorial University, College of the North Atlantic 
• Nova Scotia: Dalhousie University 
• Ontario: University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Georgian College, Seneca College, Sheridan College 
• Quebec: McGill University, Laval University, O’Sullivan College of Montreal

Horatio Alger Indigenous Achievement Scholarships

Award Amount: 5 Scholarships at $10,000 each

• First Nation (status and non-status), Inuit and Métis high school students must be in their final year of high school
• Students whose home Indigenous community are in the Northwest or Yukon Territories or Nunavut
• Enrolled full-time in a high school within Canada at time of application
• Must be starting in a four-year post-secondary program within Canada full-time in September
• Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average and a full-time course load to receive renewed support each year
• Valid Social Insurance Number 

Deadline: August 1, 2024

Horatio Alger Québec Scholarship 

Award Amount: 10 Scholarships at $5,000 each

• Be in their final year of CEGEP and plan to enter university in the Fall 2024
• Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university (Horatio Alger only supports not-for-profit universities) 
• Reside and attend school in Québec 
• The university application for final year CEGEP students is now closed and will open in December 2024

University Canada West (UCW) entrance awards, scholarships and grants are available to new students applying to a UCW undergraduate or graduate program. Students currently studying at UCW may be eligible to apply for continuing student Awards.

You can receive only one (1) award, scholarship, grant or continuing student award if eligible (limited exceptions apply, see below for details).

Please review policy documents  9009 – Awards  for the complete details regarding UCW policies and procedures for awards.

Entrance Awards

University Canada West entrance awards are available to new students approved for admission to either undergraduate or graduate programs at UCW.

• If you are eligible for multiple automatically awarded awards, then you will receive the award with the highest value.
• Students taking online programs are not eligible for these awards, unless specified.
• Applicants with conditional offers are not eligible to qualify for an award until they fulfill the conditions for full (i.e. unconditional) admission.
• Award recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for UCW and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives.
• All awards are disbursed as tuition credit.
• New Student Orientation (NSO), ENGL 080, and any repeat course attempts are not eligible courses for disbursal payments (even if taken within the disbursal period).

The following awards are bestowed automatically. That is, no award application is required as these awards will be granted at point of admission (if eligibility is met).

AFRICAN GRANT

Eligibility: This grant is open to international applicants who are citizens from one of the following countries:

Award Value:

• Disbursements will commence from the second term of enrolment (excluding any terms with preparatory courses*).

Condition(s):

• The student must commence their program before their offer for admission expires.
• The student must not change programs.
• The student must pay all fees (that are not covered by the award) by their respective due dates.
• The student must maintain good academic standing.
• The student must maintain a full-time enrolment status.

Award End Date:

This grant is valid for students enrolling in our January 2025 intake. Eligible applicants will need to submit their applications by the admission deadlines.

AMERICAS GRANT

Applicable Programs: Master of Business Administration , Bachelor of Commerce , Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication , Associate of Arts , MBA Foundation

*The award amount for MBAF is issued as the student takes MBAF 501, MBAF 502 and MBAF 504.

Award End Date: This grant is valid until 31st of October 2025 (2025 award). Eligible applicants will need to submit their applications by the admission deadlines.

CANADA 150 TUITION CONCESSION FOR THE ARMED FORCES

Applicable Programs:   MBA ,  Bachelor of Commerce ,  Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication ,  Associate of Arts

Eligibility:  This award is open to  domestic applicants  who are either active members, reservists, or veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)* or CF One members. Students taking online programs are not eligible for this award. This award is part of the CF One Member Appreciation Program, which was created to promote a variety of exclusive and meaningful discounts to the Canadian Forces Community and their families, one million strong, in recognition of their sacrifices and dedication.

*A copy of the members CF One Card must be submitted with the initial application to be considered for this offer.

Award Value:  Recipients will receive a 30% lower tuition rate in recognition of their service to this country.

Disbursal:  The award will be applied as a discount to all courses within the program plan.

• The student must maintain a full-time enrollment status.

Award End Date:  This award currently has no official end date. This is subject to change. Please refer to this page for any updated information.

COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES (CIS) REGIONAL GRANT

Applicable Programs: MBA , Bachelor of Commerce , Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication , Associate of Arts

Disbursal: The award value will be applied as a tuition credit each term, from the second term of study. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered at UCW.

EUROPEAN GRANT

Disbursements will commence from the second term of enrolment (excluding any terms with preparatory courses).

Award End Date: This grant will discontinue from September 2024.

MIDDLE EAST REGIONAL GRANT

Eligibility: This grant is open to international applicants who are citizens from Iran.

PATHWAY TO KNOWLEDGE BURSARY

Applicable Programs: Bachelor of Commerce , Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication

Eligibility: This award is open to both domestic applicants and international applicants who have a GPA of 2.33 (C+) or higher (after conversion) on their qualification used as their basis for admission.

• Disbursements will commence from the final year of enrolment (i.e. the final 10 courses of your program).

Conditions:

• The student must not be awarded transfer credits (including PLAR) at the point of admission or for the duration of their studies.

Award End Date: Eligible applicants will need to submit their applications by December 30, 2024.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Eligibility: This award is open to both domestic applicants and international applicants who have excellent academic achievement on their qualification used as their basis for admission. Please see Award Value for the specific CGPA requirements.

This award currently has no official end date. This is subject to change. Please refer to this page for any updated information.

SOUTHEAST ASIA (SEA) REGIONAL GRANT

This grant is valid until 31st of October 2025 (2025 award). Eligible applicants will need to submit their applications by the admission deadlines.

SPECIAL TARGETED REGIONAL AWARD PROGRAM

This grant is valid until 31st of October 2025 (2025 award). Eligible applicants will need to submit their applications by the admission deadlines.

UKRAINIAN STUDENT GRANT

Eligibility: This grant is open to international applicants who are citizens of Ukraine.

Disbursal:  The award value will be applied as a tuition credit each term, from the second term of study. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered at UCW.

Condition(s): 

Award End Date: Eligible applicants will need to submit their applications by September 30, 2024.

The following awards are reviewed and awarded through an application process (i.e. non-automatically). These awards may be limited, and eligibility does not guarantee approval.

• Domestic Students
• International Students
• Award applications must be complete to be considered as meeting this deadline.
• Award applications are not reviewed until after the applicant has been approved for admission.
• The Registrar’s Office may request additional documents before determining an outcome for an award application.

THE EMILY BAKER SCHOLARSHIP

Applicable Programs: Master of Business Administration .

Eligibility: This award is open to domestic applicants from a Canadian Indigenous community (specifically First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples).

Applicants must be approved for either the Summer or Fall intakes.

A maximum of one (1) Indigenous student will be awarded a full tuition scholarship every year.

Required Documents:

• Award applications must be submitted by May 31 (of the year the program commences).
• Canadian Indian Status Card
• This statement (approximately 1,000 words) should describe how undertaking the Master of Business Administration degree program at UCW will impact the applicant’s career and personal goals.
• The personal statement submitted with the Scholarship & Awards Application is final; no updated personal statements will be reviewed.

The award will be applied as a discount to all courses within the program plan.

• The student must commence their program before your offer for admission expires.

INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS GRANT

Eligibility: This grant is open to domestic applicants who are current members of a recognized Canadian professional association. The list can be found here .

• The student must include proof of membership.
• The student must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application.

MBA FOUNDATION STUDY GRANT

Eligibility:

This grant is open to both domestic applicants and international applicants who are required to take the MBA Foundation courses as a part of their program plan.

• Award Application Form
• This statement (approximately 500 words) should describe how undertaking the Master of Business Administration degree program at UCW will impact the applicant’s career and personal goals.
• The personal statement submitted with the Scholarship & Awards Application is final; no updated personal statements will be reviewed
• Disbursements will commence in the last term of enrolment.
• The student must complete 33 credits of the MBA degree program within 36 months (of completing the MBA Foundation courses).

SHERRYL KINTU SCHOLARSHIP

The Sherryl Kintu Scholarship was set up as a tribute to, and in recognition of, the passions and interests of Sherryl Kintu, who was a dedicated employee of Global University Systems for nine years, where she rose from Executive Assistant to a Director level position. Sherryl sadly passed away in April 2021. Sherryl was known as a trustworthy friend to individuals and the company, with a passion and drive for everything she did. Applicants to this scholarship are expected to reflect these qualities.

Applicable Program:   Master of Business Administration

The award is open to international female applicants with Citizenship of an African Country in the MBA program.

Applicants must be approved for the Fall 2024 intake.

A maximum of one (1) student that is a Citizen of an African Country will be awarded a full tuition scholarship for the MBA program.

• The deadline for applying to the Scholarship is September 1, 2024 at 11:59 pm PDT.
• This statement (approximately 300 words) should describe how undertaking the Master of Business Administration degree program at UCW will contribute to the applicant’s long-term career goals, clearly demonstrating passion, drive, creativity and ambition and the apparent need for funding.
• The scholarship may be deferred for a maximum of one (1) intake from the original admission intake.

Only the successful candidate will be contacted with the award letter and further details. Appeals for this award will not be accepted. Decisions of the UCW Scholarship Committee and the Sherryl Kintu Fund Board (SKFB) are final.

UNIVERSITY CANADA WEST FOUNDER'S SCHOLARSHIP

Applicable Programs:   Bachelor of Commerce ,  Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication ,  Associate of Arts

Eligibility:  This award is open to  domestic applicants  who demonstrate the following (at the time of the award application):

• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency (at the time of application); and,
• Graduation from high school within the past 12 months with a minimum cumulative grade point average (4.00).

Additionally, applicants may be contacted by UCW for an interview before determining an outcome for an award application.

Award Value: A maximum of twenty (20) students will be awarded a full tuition scholarship every year.

• Award applications must be submitted by May 31st (of the year the program commences).
• This statement (approimately. 1,000 words) should describe how undertaking an undergraduate degree program at UCW will impact the applicant’s career and personal goals.
• This recommendation letter should be from an educator or a community leader.
• The student must maintain a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average.

Continuing Student Awards

University Canada West continuing awards are available to students currently studying either undergraduate or graduate programs at UCW.

• You can receive only ONE (1) continuing student award.
• Students who were recipients of an entrance award are not eligible for a continuing student award.
• Students taking online programs are not eligible for these awards.
• Repeat course attempts are not eligible courses for disbursal payments (even if taken within the disbursal period).

The following award is reviewed and bestowed through an award application process (i.e. non-automatically). These awards may be limited, and eligibility does not guarantee approval.

MBA EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS

Applicable Programs: Master of Business Administration

This award is open to both domestic applicants and international applicants who have excellent academic achievement in their MBA qualification with UCW. Students must have completed 27 credits with a minimum 3.80 cumulative grade point average*.

*The CGPA achievement is calculated by only using the grade points of the first 27 credits completed for the MBA degree program (including transfer credits).

• Award applications must be submitted within 30 days of achieving the minimum 27 credits required (including transfer credits).

• The student must maintain a minimum 3.80 cumulative grade point average.
