Eligibility Criteria

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or 75% in four year U.G.(and having one year P.G. degree) from a recognized University or should have qualified a programme declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body.
• A relaxation of 5% marks at the PG level will be given to SC/ST/OBC (Non- creamy layer)/ MBC (NCL) and PH students.

Reservation

• Subject-wise while allotting Supervisor against vacancies.
• Reservation as per Rajasthan Government rules in each department. If candidates from reserved categories are not available, vacancies may be filled by General candidates as per the University rules and UGC rules.
• One additional seat in each department will be created specifically for candidates from TSP region of Rajasthan who have qualified in the Research Entrance Test but could not get supervisor allotted in the interview.
• No candidates shall be exempted from the Research Entrance Test irrespective of their having qualified UGC/CSIR NET (JRF) etc.

• Candidates have to apply online on the link available at the university website.

• General/EWS / OBC (Creamy layer)/ MBC (Creamy layer) – Rs.1000/-
• PH/SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/ MBC (Non-creamy layer) – Rs.500/-

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance test & Interview.

Scheme of Test

• The examination will consist of one paper having 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) (one mark of each question) and there will be no negative marking.
• Section A will have 50 MCQ in Research Methodology and Section B will have subject specific questions.
• The examinee will be required to secure at least 36% marks in each section of the paper.
• Category wise Minimum Qualifying Marks Required
• General/Economically Weaker Section/ OBC (Creamy Layer)/MBC (Creamy Layer) – 50%
• PH/SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/MBC (Non-Creamy Layer) -45
• Section A will have Research Methodology and Section B will have subject specific questions.
• The syllabus of Section B for this paper will be the same as that of UGC /CSIR NET examination and wherever not available, as uploaded on this website.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : MLSU is Rajasthan's best University. University law college offers various integrated and non integrated programmes. To take admission in LLB students must clear any national or state level law entrance exam( CLAT/RULET). Admission is given on the basis of merit in entrance exam. Students must either have passed 12th by 45+% with any stream.

Placements & Internships : major law firms every year give placements to meritorious students. 100% placements for law students is the only aim of this institution. Packages of INR 25-INR 30 lacs per annum have been given to the meritorious and bright students. Major law firms from across the state have taken interns and legal advisors from our college. Alumni meet is held every year former students placed in prestigious law firms and practising in high courts and supreme court of India are invited to guide freshers.

Fees & Scholarships : LLB is a government course thus fee structure is very simple. 10,000 INR/- per year for three consecutive years. Whereas, other 5 year integrated courses like BA/B.com LLB fees structure is 35,000 INR/- per year for5 consecutive years. Various scholarships upto INR 10,000 are offered to bright students. On an average 50-60 students are provided with scholarship every year.

Academics & Faculty : My college timing is 8 a.m. to 2p.m. from monday to friday . On Saturdays we have cultural and academic activity sessions. 5 lectures each day by excellent faculties. The faculty is so friendly and highly experienced. Students can directly contact to the management at any hour of the day. Dean(Mr.Anand Paliwal) keeps in touch with every student personally. We here at MLSU, Law college are provided with print out notes and visual presentations by teachers, books are issued by library on 0 cost for every semester. Environment of the college is remarkably friendly and positive.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 separate hostels for boys and girls one for each. Hostels are comprised of 500 rooms with attached washrooms. Hostel buildings are very clean and safe. Wifi equipped.There are 7 security gaurds for both the hostels and 6 wardens. Mess is also there. The hostel fee is INR 40,000 /- yearly. There are various PGs as well nearby college. On an average PGs cost INR 4-5k per month exclusive of food. The college provides canteen facilities as well. Food in the canteen is very nutritious and budget friendly. Good quality wifi is provided all day long. There are moot court facilities available as well with projection rooms and seminar halls. There are well spaced clasrooms and a library with 1.5 lac books in it regarding law subjects and cultural subjects.

Clubs & Associations : There is a student union which orgainzes cultural and academic programes. There are various academic committees like MUN committee, Moot Court Committee, cultural committee. Student union orgainzes annual fest every year with various cultural activities. There is a sports committee as well. Basketball, cricket, hockey, football, table tennis ,badminton etc. are the main focus of outdoor games committee whereas college also conducts every year chess championship for students.

Mohan Lal Sukhadia University ranked 73rd in the NIRF Ranking 2023 in the Pharmacy category.  The university scored 43.54. In memory of politician Mohanlal Sukhadia, MLSU Udaipur was established in 1962. The university, also known as the University of Udaipur , is located in the Udaipur city of Rajasthan, with four constituent colleges. The college also has over 60 colleges affiliated with different districts of India, including Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, and Udaipur.

Mohanlal Sukhadia University is a state university recognised by UGC. MLSU Udaipur's application process for 2022  has already started. The college has set some specific eligibility criteria that a candidate must fulfil to secure a seat at the university. Every  MLSU Udaipur programme  has selection criteria with a minimum score required by the students.

The  application process for MLSU Udaipur  is entirely online. To complete the  MLSU application form , candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the  official admission portal of Mohanlal Sukhadia University. 

Step 2: Select the desired program and fill the registration form with the basic information, such as educational details, personal details, and contact address.

Step 3: Scanned signatures and colour photographs of the candidate must be uploaded along with the  MLSU application form . Also, candidates are advised to keep all the required documents, such as birth certificate, category certificate, last qualifying degree certificate, etc., handy to avoid any difficulty in the admission process.

Step 4: Submit the MLSU application form and pay the MLSU application fee  via any online payment method such as net banking, credit and debit cards, BHIM UPI, Paytm, etc. For further reference, candidates must keep the receipt of the fee paid. 

Step 5: The transaction is cancelled if the confirmation page is not generated after completing the fee payment. Candidates will have to make transactions again. The deducted amount will be refunded to the candidate's account. 

Step 6: Candidates who will match the university's eligibility criteria will have to give the entrance exam (Except for MBA).

• For MBA aspirants, their CAT or CMAT score will be taken as selection criteria in the MLSU application form 2022. Upon shortlisting, they will be directly called for a personal interview. However, a candidate's performance in all the selection rounds will decide whether the candidate will get admission or not. 
• PhD aspirants are exempted from the entrance exam only if they have qualified for national-level entrance examinations such as UGC, CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship.
• The university supports SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS students. Therefore, merit lists are prepared for each category, making these students eligible for marks concession as per the approved admission Policy of  Mohanlal Sukhadia University.

The university offers full-time M.Phil. programs in a variety of fields of study. The minimum requirement for admission is a master's degree in the relevant field with 55% marks (or 50% for reserved categories). In order to admit M.Phil. students, the university conducts a Research Entrance Test (RET) and counseling. Candidates who are qualified for RET are invited to the counseling round, where their performance in RET and interview are combined to determine admission. Before proceeding with the registration candidates are directed to read carefully all the instructions and guidelines mentioned in the advertisement

The following steps are required to fill up the on-line application form:.

• Fill registration form and upload Documents
• Advertisement

• Profile Registration is mandatory for applying against the advertisement for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) - 2024.
• Candidates may register using their PPP ID/Adhaar Number/Mobile Number.
• Candidate registering using PPP ID/Adhaar Number should ensure that the Mobile Number and Email ID provided in the PPP Data Base/Adhaar Data Base is valid /in-use. In Case the Mobile Number or Email ID mentioned in PPP or Adhaar is invalid/changed the candidate should update his/her Mobile No. and Email ID in PPP/Adhaar, by visiting nearest CSC centre before proceeding with the registration process.
• Mobile number is validated by OTP.

Note: Information coming from PPP like Name, DOB etc. will be non-editable. In case of any conflict, candidate need to visit nearest CSC centers to update the details. In case your Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) data is incorrect then you are advised to use Aadhaar or Mobile number as your mode of registration

The candidates are advised to apply well in time without waiting for the closing date

• The Candidate needs to login and fill all the required fields in the registration form after sign up.
• Upload Passport size Photograph: - (Only JPG, JPEG, and PNG files are allowed. The file size must be less than 500 KB, and the dimensions should range from (132px * 170px) to (160px * 204px) ).
• Upload Signature: - (Only JPG, JPEG, and PNG files are allowed. The file size must be less than 500 KB, and the dimensions should range from (132px*57px) to (160px*68px) ).
• Before submission of the online registration form, candidate can preview his/her registration form.

Note: The candidates should note that after submitting online application form, no changes would allowed in any field at a later stage.

• During the registration process only the basic details of the candidate would be captured.
• After completion of the registration process, candidate can apply for advertisement using his/her login ID.
• Candidates would have to provide further details as per the requirements of advertisement they wish to apply for. After filling in the requisite details of the advertisement, candidates would have to make payment of the fee mentioned in the advertisement.
• Click on proceed to payment button to complete your payment (as applicable).
• Payment of the fee is made only through online mode (e-payment). If due to some difficulties, the candidate is not sure whether the payment is processed or not, then instead of making payment again and again. the candidates should check their previous transaction status.
• After making payment successfully, download a copy, check your application form, sign the declaration in given space and upload the signed copy of the application form to complete the application process, Failing which, your application will not be considered

Note: (1) The candidates should note that after submitting online application form,no change is allowed in any field.            (2) Download and retain a hard copy of online application form for future reference.            (3) Candidate can CANCEL/EDIT her/his application at any stage before making payment of fees. In case candidate paid the fee then it will not be refundable.            (4) Due care should be taken by the candidates while filling up the online application form.                  Incomplete or defective application form will be summarily rejected.                 No representaion or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Graduate Student Contingency Bursary Application

 Applications and supplementary documents must be submitted to GSPA using the Graduate Student Bursary/Award Submission Form .

Use this form to:

• apply for a Graduate Student Contingency Bursary (previously known as the Millennium Graduate Bursary)

Graduate Students who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada and require financial assistance must apply for a bursary through the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office .

Varies but will be restricted to a maximum based on the student’s situation.

Eligibility Requirements: 

Applicants must:

• be an international student registered full time in a graduate program
• normally be in term 4.0 or beyond of their academic program; students in the first term of their program are not eligible
• have demonstrated financial need resulting from extenuating circumstances : defined as events or situations that could not have reasonably been predicted or expected and/or were beyond the student’s control*, and that have occurred since starting their graduate program.
• provide written confirmation that they are seeking support elsewhere and identify how they are covering any shortfall; written confirmation must also include a concrete plan to explain how they will financially support themselves in future terms

*Bursaries are not guaranteed; because of limited funding available, reasons why a student received a bursary in the past does not guarantee they will receive a bursary for the same reason again.

Maximum number of bursaries:

• International students in a Master’s program (professional or non-professional) can receive a maximum of one bursary throughout their entire program.
• International students in a Doctoral program can receive a maximum of two bursaries throughout their entire program.
• As funding is limited, there is no guarantee that all applicants will be funded. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis each term, depending on available budget.

Application Deadlines: 

• Fall term – September 15  
• Winter term – January 15  
• Spring term – May 15

Where the advertised deadline falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the deadline date will be the following Monday. Applications will be processed in date order as they are received.  The application form will be closed following the advertised deadlines.

If an applicant does not qualify or is not approved for the Contingency Bursary or they have an emergency and the application form is closed, they may consider applying for an emergency loan (providing they have a concrete form of repayment), contact their department graduate coordinator and/or review the “Additional resources” section on the External awards page .

Notification:

Applicants will normally be notified of bursary decisions within one month of the deadline.
