Research Virophage Injector; last mission (Spoiler)

Hi, I researched the Virophag Injector and thus triggered the last mission.

But that pissed off all factions and I got - 75 value for each faction.

Is there a way to trigger the last mission without worsening my relatitionship to the factions?

Edit: I am aligned with New Jericho.

Once you research Virophage injector, you are locked into the Phoenix Point ending. Whatever your relations were with other factions.

The -75 is there to try to trigger wars with other factions (but since I was close to 100 with all…) and force you to end quickly.

Ok, but will I still get the New Jericho ending? Or should I have done something else to get it?

Hope you have a saved game before finishing the research. Otherwise, you have to restart the game.

What else could I have been doing to trigger the last mission, without the Virophag Injector?

Or in other words: What do I have to research and get the last mission AND bei aligned with New Jericho AND get the New Jericho ending?

There are 5 different endings.

• One for Phoenix Point
• One per faction
• One if you lose (100% ODI)

Each winning ending is triggered by a different research. I’m not at home to give the names but you can find them on this forum. Ending the research for one of them blocks you into one ending (even if you then do the research for an other faction).

Unfortunately nothing. If you don’t have saved game before Virophage Injector research you must do PP ending. If you have load it and skip Virophage Injector research.

Look there. When you finished one of those researches then you are locked in the ending of the game.

In my opinion the best way would be that you are allowed to research all and before the beginning of the Final Mission you could choose for which fraction you want to play the final Mission.

Currently you Play the final Mission for the fraction which research you completed First.

Boys, I have found a savegame from before the research. Had to repeat the painful New Jericho fortress mission with FIVE Chirons. *sigh

Strange, I am again at the point, where I can research the Virophage Injector, yet the New Jericho last research point: Project Nemesis is not available. What have I done wrong?

Do I have to complete all available other research for NJ before I get the topic?

Are you allied with them? What is diplomatic percentage?

EDIT: I think you have to be 75+% with them to be able to do shared research. On 50+% level you only get their research once they finish it, you don’t contribute.

Just did this mission with 4 mortar Chirons. I forgot to put “+20 armor” from technician but my heavies lost only little health. My sniper on the other hand got some of it and nearly died. So I can confirm, remedy against Mortar or Goo Chiron, heavy armor.

I don’t know then. I have finished NJ ending but now don’t remember what exactly I had to research before Project Nemesis. I remember only that I have finished all their research before the final mission.

Is there anything I should know for the last mission boss? I saw, he has about 9000 health. What weapons do I take best with me?

Whatever your play style is bring LOT of ammo. 2 priests with mind crush will help you very much. Save game before that mission because there is no evac area, if you lose you lose whole team.

I know this thread is old but I got the same problem. Project Nemesis isn’t showing up. I have only the option for the Virophage Injector. I researched nearly everything, I only miss some catched pandoran research for example the psychic influences research (Clarity Module) and the goo research (Goo Repeller). Are those two needed or do I miss something completely? The last research for NJ was the AI.

and the finished NJ ones.

There should be a goal on the global view that NJ builds their big Command Center (or something similar) anywhere. If this is ready you have to defend it together with NJ troops against a big bunch of pandorans and after that you get access to Project Nemesis.

Personal Data of 3 Billion People Stolen in Hack, Suit Says (1)

Jerico Pictures Inc., a background-check company doing business as National Public Data, exposed the personal information of nearly 3 billion individuals in an April data breach, a proposed class action says.

On April 8, a cybercriminal group by the name of USDoD posted a database entitled “National Public Data” on a dark web forum, claiming to have the personal data of 2.9 billion people, according to the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, which said the group put the database up for sale for $3.5 million.

If confirmed, the breach could be among the biggest ever, in terms of the number of individuals affected. A 2013 breach of Yahoo! compromised the data of an estimated 3 billion individuals .

It’s unclear exactly when or how the breach occurred, according to the complaint, and the provider still hasn’t provided notice or warning to affected individuals as of the filing.

To conduct its business, National Public Data scrapes the personally identifying information of billions of individuals from non-public sources—meaning plaintiffs didn’t knowingly provide their data to the company, the complaint said.

Some of the information exposed includes Social Security numbers, current and past addresses spanning decades, full names, information about relatives—including some deceased for nearly two decades—and more, according to the complaint.

National Public Data didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Named plaintiff Christopher Hofmann, a California resident, said he received a notification from his identity-theft protection service provider on July 24, notifying him that his data was exposed in a breach and leaked on the dark web.

He accused National Public Data of negligence, unjust enrichment, and breaches of fiduciary duty and third-party beneficiary contract.

Hofmann asked the court to require National Public Data to purge the personal information of all the individuals affected and to encrypt all data collected going forward. In addition to monetary relief, he also asked for a series of requirements, including that National Public Data segment data, conduct database scanning, implement a threat-management program, and appoint a third-party assessor to conduct an evaluation of its cybersecurity frameworks annually for 10 years.

Technicians specialize in the use of robotic arm mounts that can only be attached to their unique technician-class chest armor, which they can apply to stun enemies, heal allies, or repair mechanical devices, among other things. Technicians are also proficient in the use of autonomous turrets, which they can deploy on the field at will to automatically lay down fire against incoming enemies.

Contrary to the more esoteric primary weapons employed by Infiltrators and Priests , the Technician's PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) is a more traditional direct-fire weapon that requires only a single action point to fire. This puts it somewhere between handguns and assault rifles, having roughly the same power as the latter, with similar (read: poor) accuracy and flexibility of the former. PDWs perform very badly against armored foes, but their ease of use allows a proficient soldier to close the distance and unload potent bursts at point blank range into lighter foes or unarmored body parts.

Strategy [ ]

Never underestimate the potential of the Technician's turrets. Even the base Watcher AT is reasonably durable while still packing a formidable punch, including armor shred. Its ability to draw fire from enemies also pulls bullets away from your soldiers, and its innate Return Fire makes sure it can severely punish any enemy that dares putting it in their sights.

The "Manual Control" ability of the Technician may seem odd at first, but when one understands how it works, it becomes an indispensable asset. Manual Control can make the next attack of a turret or vehicle cost 0 AP, be it a turret or a vehicle . This allows repeated attacks with its weapon (or the Aspida 's Electric Strike) until the Technician runs out of APs or Will Points to use the ability. Alternatively, it can grant a full round of actions to an Infiltrator's spider drones. Said drones can then act immediately on your direction -- you can use this to, for example, throw an auto-turret next to an enemy with Remote Deployment, then use Manual Control on that turret, and fire point-blank into the enemy for massive damage!

The Technician class has been available since some of the earliest backer builds of Phoenix Point, making it the first elite soldier class to ever be released.

This vast landscape in the north of Scotland is helping fight climate change by storing more than 400 million tons of carbon in its dense peak.

MILLY REVILL HAYWARD, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds: It's a brilliant, brilliant example of what a blanket bulb can look like, and the type of species that you can find here. Flow country represents 5 percent of all blanket bulb research in the world.

Now, it's been designated by UNESCO as one of the best examples of a crucial, yet threatened ecosystem that's helping the planet keep breathing. Within its 1,500 square miles is a diverse range of wildlife and plants, including mosses that store large quantities of water in their cells. Another site in China is a stopover for millions of migrating water birds on the Yellow Sea.

Swish, Spit, Repeat: Is Oil Pulling Good for Your Teeth?

It has been said to reduce cavities, whiten teeth and minimize bad breath. Here’s what the research suggests.

In a video on TikTok , a woman scoops a heaping spoonful of solid coconut oil out of a jar and stuffs it into her mouth. She explains how she swishes the oil around — pushing and pulling it between her teeth — for about 10 minutes. Then, she spits it into the trash. She does this two to three times a week, she said.

The practice, called oil pulling, has roots in the ancient Indian medical system known as Ayurveda, and typically involves swishing an edible oil such as coconut, olive, sunflower or sesame oil around in the mouth for five to 20 minutes, and then spitting it out. It has been said to prevent gingivitis, cavities and gum recession, whiten teeth, and promote a healthy oral microbiome .

Some dental professionals are skeptical. “There is no scientific proof of any benefits of oil pulling,” said Dr. Parul Dua Makkar, a dentist in Jericho, N.Y. “I don’t recommend it at all.”

The Rationale

It’s reasonable to think that swishing oil around your mouth could help your oral health. In theory, the viscous properties of oil could coat the surfaces of the mouth, preventing bacteria from adhering and growing there, said Dr. Deborah Foyle, a periodontist at Texas A&M University School of Dentistry.

The antioxidant properties of the oil could also hypothetically interact with bad bacteria in ways that could slow their growth and reduce gum inflammation, she noted.

But it’s unclear if this would boost oral health. In a 2022 analysis of nine small clinical trials , researchers concluded that oil pulling could indeed help reduce the bacteria in the mouth, but that it does not reduce plaque (the sticky film of bacteria that adheres to teeth), gum redness, inflammation or bleeding.

The Faction is supportive of the Phoenix Project. Locations of Faction Havens have been added to the Geoscape. Defend them to earn a reputation. Failure to defend a Haven under attack will lose some support (3%).

Friendly (attitude from 0 to 24)

Standard relations.

Unfriendly (attitude from 0 to -24)

Cannot trade or recruit from Haven leaders with such an attitude.

Hostile (attitude from -25 to -49)

Aggressive (attitude from -50 to -74), at war (attitude from -75 to -100).

The faction will attempt to attack your bases. Relations cannot improve from this point.
