MWZ: How to get free PhD Flopper – Easter Egg guide

  • BY Joe Harby
  • 18 November 2023 19:06 GMT

Perk-a-Colas in Modern Warfare 3 zombies.

This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Zombies (MWZ) easter egg guide explains how to get free PhD Flopper .

MW3 ‘s Zombies mode (MWZ) might be our favourite part of the game. It mixes up the familiar round-based Zombies formula and replaces with an experience based on Warzone ‘s DMZ. Many Zombies hallmarks return, including Perk-a-Colas.

As usual, they are purchasable via in-game vending machines. However, you can also get them for free by completing special easter eggs for each Perk-a-Cola.

While it’s worth noting these easter eggs can only be completed once per lobby and will grant the perk to just one squad member, they are still worth doing.

PhD Flopper – which negates self-inflicted damage and creates a powerful explosion when dolphin diving – has its own easter egg. Having completed the easter egg for ourselves, we can now share all the necessary steps with you. Check out our easter egg guide below.

How to get free PhD Flopper in Zombies (MWZ) – Easter Egg guide

This is how to get PHD Flopper for free in Modern Warfare III Zombies (MWZ):

Go to the top of Shahin Manor at map coordinates H7. Use the individual roofs to climb up onto the wooden pergola (shown in the images below).

Map location of Shahin Manor - how to get free PHD Flopper

From the top of the pergola, sprint to the edge and perform a dolphin dive into the large swimming pool below.

If completed successfully, a reward portal containing PhD Flopper will appear under the water. This will only be visible and accessible to the player that completed the easter egg.

And there you have it – that’s how to get PhD Flopper for free in MW3 Zombies by completing an easter egg.

Wondering how to get PHD Flopper in MW3 Zombies ? Right in the first week, Sledgehammer Games asked players to find the elusive perk and get 30 kills with it.

This can seem confusing to some players so read on for a comprehensive guide that details how to get this item and its special effects. If you want to learn more about all the perks in MW3 Zombies like Jugger-Nog, Deadshot Daquiri, and Stamin-Up, we’ve got you covered. And if you want to play with friends, check if MW3 Zombies supports split-screen .

PHD Flopper in MW3 Zombies by u/Shock_the_Core in CODZombies

Get the PHD Flopper for free in MW3 with our top two methods

The PHD Flopper is a perk that grants immunity to fall damage and a special explosion when the player dives to prone. Diving to prone triggers an explosion that scales with the height of the jump. Want to minimize the time and effort for getting the PHD Flopper explosions? A free perk is a rather tempting proposition, especially since this will allow you to focus on tougher missions and contracts. Read on for our two methods of obtaining this item for free:

  • Craft a PHD Flopper with its Schematic for free – Some contracts or mission rewards can offer you the PHD Flopepr Schematic. Exfil with this reward and you’ll be able to create it before your next Zombies playthrough. Just remember that doing so starts a cooldown, ensuring that you can’t spam this ability.
  • Jump into the pool from the Shahin Manor roof to get this perk – This secret location lets you get the PHD Flopper perk for free. Jump into the pool near Mister Peeks and you’ll activate a Reward Rift with this perk.

PHD Flopper’s damage scales with the height of the jump

Diving into prone from tall buildings let you deal even more damage to enemies. Use this against armored zombies and mercenaries.

Find the PHD Flopper in Modern Warfare 3 in three ways

In MW3 Zombies, the PHD Flopper can be found in loot caches, Reward Rifts after contracts, and from vendors scattered across the map. Here’s a clearer explanation of how to get the PHD Flopper in MW3 Zombies:

  • Purchase it from a perk machine vendor for 2000 Essence – On the Tac Map, look for a nuclear sign. Hover over it and you’ll be able to check which perk this vendor sells. Find one that sells the PHD Flopper, head over there, and purchase it. Remember to exfil in MW3 Zombies if you want to use this perk later on.
  • Find a contract that offers the PHD Flopper as a reward – As you complete contracts in the MW3 Zombies map, you gain powerful rewards. Look out for higher-value contracts for a chance at this perk.
  • Get the PHD Flopper perk from a loot cache – The odds of this are pretty rare but some loot caches offer access to perks. Mercenary Caches can be found in Mercenary Stronghold scattered around the map. You can also find caches in Aether Nests. One particularly rewarding activity is destroying the mercenary convoy in MW3 Zombies .

Is the PHD Flopper worth the effort and how to maximise its potential

While it can take a while to acquire this perk, the explosions triggered by diving to prone is a great offensive tool. There’s a trick to making the most of it. Sure, you can just dive to prone wherever you are in earlier threat levels. But later on, zombies gain more health.

In that case, you can still clear large waves of enemy forces just by diving from tall buildings. This is because the damage you trigger is scaled to the height that you jump from. And don’t worry about dying from a steep fall as this perk grants immunity to fall damage.

That covers the PHD Flopper in MW3 Zombies. Check out our best MW3 loadouts if you want more straightforward paths to success in Call of Duty’s multiplayer lobbies. And if you’re considering an expensive upgrade, check if the MW3 Vault Edition is worth it .

Is the PHD Flopper good in MW3 Zombies?

The PHD Flopper’s explosions are a good situational tool.

Can you purchase any perk from a vendor in MW3 Zombies?

No, a vendor will only offer one perk picked at random.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies: How to Find and Defeat the Dokkaebi Warlord

Modern warfare 3 zombies: how to get secret geode mcw blueprint, modern warfare 3 zombies: how to get the ray gun.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sees the somewhat adorable Mister Peeks bring back several Perk-a-Colas for the sake of mowing down zombies across the new Urzikstan map . Combining the best elements of DMZ and Outbreak, returning players will want to get their hands on these perks to not only increase their survival chances but also because they are free.

The only problem is that Mister Peeks has hidden the perks in specific locations where each location requires you to complete a unique challenge for the soda reward. These are a bit similar to the Aether Bunny side quest in Black Ops Cold War . For those struggling, here is how you can get all the free perks in Urzikstan.

mw3 dokkaebi warlord

Want to find and defeat the latest Warlord in MW3 Zombies? Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing this mission.

How to Get All Free Perks in MW3 Zombies

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies - Free Perks Locations

There are a total of nine free perks that are scattered around the Urzikstan map, all of which require you to complete their individual challenges in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies . Remember that each perk will always spawn in the same location , which has been marked on the map above. You only need to make your way to each of those locations and complete an Easter egg to get the perk.

Something else of importance to know is that only one player can get one of the free perks per match . If you are the first player to complete the Quick Revive Perk challenge, for example, no one else will be able to unlock the perk for the duration of the match.

1. Speed Cola Perk

MW3 Zombies - Speed Cola Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: D2 - 6115.059, 2497.501

There is a large bird-like statue overlooking the Levin Resort in the northwestern section of Urzikstan. Head over there in any vehicle and then drive off the edge (beak) of the statue to spawn a rift with a free Speed Cola Perk.

There are several vehicles parked around the buildings directly south of the statue.

Speed Cola is one of the fastest and easiest perks players can get in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies . It makes weapon reloading and armor-replating faster.

2. Death Perception Perk

MW3 Zombies - Death Perception Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: E2 - 6327.830, 3845.962

Head over to the Sorokin Industrial area in the northern part of the map to come across three circular statues. The challenge here is to glide through all three rings without touching the ground. For that purpose, you need to climb the tall smokestack northwest of the statues (marked on the map above) to get into position.

Successfully passing through each ring plays an audio cue. Do it for all three and a rift will open to reward the Death Perception Perk. Remember that this Easter egg challenge can be attempted again if failed, so there is no need to worry about completing it the first time.

Slow down your descent to glide through the top-right corner of the first ring. This will make it easier to glide through the remaining two rings.

Drinking the Death Perception Perk allows you to see nearby enemies, chests, items, and resources through walls in MW3 Zombies .

3. Juggernog Perk

MW3 Zombies - Juggernog Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: C3 - 5071.084, 2128.649

The Juggernog challenge requires players to have a Molotov or any fire-based lethal equipment , such as a Thermite in Modern Warfare 3 . The Molotov is the easiest option here because it is a common item drop from zombies. Keep killing them until one of them drops a Molotov and then head over to the western part of the map, north of the Seaport District.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III COD MW3 operator firing LMG behind game logo

Unlocking the secret Geode MCW Blueprint involves a lengthy grinding process; here’s a step-by-step breakdown.

Behind the hub of buildings (cafe and restaurant) will be an unlit campfire that needs to be ignited using the Molotov. That will spawn another rift nearby with another free perk.

There is a chance that the Juggernog location comes in a tier-two zone, meaning that the zombies here will be much faster and have a lot more health.

The Juggernog Perk increases your total health, which makes it a fine perk to pair with the best close-quarter weapons in the game.

4. Deadshot Daiquiri Perk

MW3 Zombies - Deadshot Daiquiri Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: I3 - 5329.484, 6568.552

There is an abandoned church on a hill southeast of the Orlov Military Base that you need to go to for another free perk in MW3 Zombies . Make sure to have a Grenade or Semtex because you need to throw it into the top-most window of the church as shown in the image above. You can stand on the gravestone next to the church to make the throw easier.

If done right, a rift will open near you once the lethal explodes. If not, you can try again by refilling your lethals from the nearby Ammo Cache.

Aim a bit higher to get the right trajectory. The Grenade will fall short if you are aiming directly at the window.

Deadshot Daiquiri is easily one of the best perks to get in Modern Warfare 3 . It increases the critical hit damage done to any enemies you come across while aiming down your sight.

5. Quick Revive Perk

MW3 Zombies - Quick Revive Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: H5 - 3438.586, 6117.557

The Quick Revive challenge is a short race that you need to win in about 10 seconds. For that reason, you will need to get hold of either an ATV or a Motorcycle since they are the fastest vehicles in Modern Warfare 3 . Once you find one, follow the highway south towards the Hadiqa Farms until you come across a large road sign as shown in the image above.

Stop your ATV/Motorcycle right beneath it and wait for a few seconds until an audio cue (demonic laugh) plays. That is when you hit the pedal and race down the highway until the next road sign. Cross it and a rift should open to reward you with a free Quick Revive Perk. If you fail, head back to the first road sign and start again.

If you are running short on gas, continue south on the highway for a little bit, and you will find a gas station on your right.

The Quick Revive Perk allows you to regenerate health and revive allies faster by 50%.

6. Free Stamin-Up Perk

MW3 Zombies - Stamin-Up Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: D7 - 2229.949, 2634.885

Head to the location marked on the map above to find a tall, white skyscraper in Zaravan City. It's hard to miss. Enter and find the staircase on the right. What you need to do next is climb/sprint up all 15 floors to reach the roof as fast as possible.

Zombies will start spawning in the stairwell after you reach floor 10. Make sure to not get blocked by them. If you manage to reach the roof within a hidden time limit, a rift will open that contains a free Stamin-Up Perk.

Pull out your sidearm (pistol) to run faster. You can also drop your weapons to complete this Easter egg challenge hands-free.

Drinking the free Stamin-Up Perk gives your running and sprinting speed a massive boost, which can be very helpful when trying to get away from the MW3 Zombies .

7. Tombstone Perk

MW3 Zombies - Tombstone Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: G7 - 1637.422, 4987.366

There are two things that you should know before starting the Tombstone Perk challenge. Firstly, this Easter egg requires a sniper rifle with a high-powered scope . Secondly, it involves a jumpscare, which acts as a throwback to the earlier days of Zombies.

call of duty-mw3 zombies ray gun

The Ray Gun has returned in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Here’s everything players need to know about finding this wonder weapon.

When ready, head to the Zaravan Suburbs on the southern border of Urzikstan. Find the unfinished building (marked on the map above) and climb up to its roof. Use your high-powered scope to look towards the giant yellow crane in the southern mountains. You will barely be able to see Mister Peeks around the mid-level walkway. Keep your crosshair on the bunny for a few seconds to trigger a jumpscare, which will then reward you with a Tombstone Perk.

There is a second crane here in the opposite direction within the city. Ignore that one.

The Tombstone Perk allows you to recover your backpack inventory in the next match from the same location where you died. This, however, does not keep your Pack-a-Punched weapons .

8. PHD Flopper Perk

MW3 Zombies - PHD Flopper Perk Challenge

  • Coordinates: H7 - 1786.391, 6065.849

Head to the Shahin Manor in the southeastern corner of the map, a location with lots of lucrative loot items, and find your way to its roof. Then climb on top of the wooden beams (rafters) that are overlooking the swimming pool below. What you need to do is jump from the edge of the rafters while sprinting and dolphin dive (hold Circle/B) into the water. If you hear a laugh, another rift will spawn to give you a free PHD Flopper Perk.

If you do not know how to dolphin dive, jump from the edge and open your parachute to cover some ground before cutting the chute to drop into the pool. You only need to free-fall into the waters on the right edge of the pool.

PHD Flopper provides a lot of bonuses. You become immune to all area-of-effect damage from weapons you are using. You also become immune to fall damage while diving. Lastly, dolphin diving triggers an explosion.

9. Elemental Pop Perk

Elemental Pop is the strongest free perk in MW3 Zombies , which is perhaps why it remains hidden to date. It gives you a random chance to apply one of the Ammo Mods (Brain Rot, Cyro Freeze, Dead Wire, Napalm Burst, Shatter Blast) in the game to every bullet fired.

Some players have managed to get the perk by accident, but no one is certain on how to complete its Easter egg. One theory suggests that you have to be in a High Threat level zone , but again, no one knows what steps you need to follow for the perk.

There is also a chance that the perk is bugged. Perhaps more clues will be revealed when the next seasonal update arrives .

How To Get All Free Perks in MW3 Zombies – MWZ

“You need a little revive”

All Free Perks in MW3 Zombies - MWZ

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3  –  MW3  Zombies offers a new way of fighting the undead that looks like a mixture of Outbreak and DMZ from last year. There are a lot of differences between this open-world Zombies mode and the old round-based game we used to play. However, you can still bring a Ray Gun to the fight , open Mystery Boxes for random weapons, and drink colas that give you a certain perk! This is while, besides being able to buy the sodas, you can literally get all the perks in  MW3  Zombies – MWZ for free every single match.

How Many Perks Are There in MW3 Zombies

Free Perks in MW3 Zombies

  • Deadshot Daiquiri
  • Death Perception
  • PHD Flopper
  • Quick Revive
  • Tombstone Soda
  • Elemental Pop

All of the MWZ perk-a-colas are the same as the ones we had in Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak. However, this time, you can grab all of them for free in the game only if you complete a certain challenge.

All Free Perks Locations in MWZ

All Free Perks in MW3 Zombies - MWZ

Out of 9 perks in the  MW3  Zombies, all of them have an easter egg to be freely unlocked in the game, except for the Elemental Pop. Now remember, each one of these perks is always in the exact location marked on the tac map above, and the numbers for each perk match the list above. Another essential thing to note is that every time you spawn in a match, only one player can grab each one of these free perks. If a player has done the easter egg to grab Jugger Nog, for example, before you, you simply can not get the free perk anymore.

1. Deadshot Daiquiri

Deadshot Daiquiri

South of the Orlov military base, you’ll find a church that resembles the one in The Nun II. Now, you’d need a grenade for the Deadshot Daiquiri free perk easter egg in  MW3  Zombies. Stand right where I’m facing in the image above, and throw the grenade to the top window. You have to throw the grenade from down there, and if you climb and make it easy for yourself, the perk won’t appear.

2. Death Perception

Death Perception

Go north on the Urzikestan map in MWZ, and you’ll find 3 loop statues standing in the open. See those rings? You’ll have to glide through all of them without falling to gain the free Death Perception perk in  MW3  Zombies! Now, this might sound impossible, but you can cheese this challenge if you start from the one you see in the image below.

free phd flopper

Climb up and start by going through the rings one after another. Remember that there’s no penalty for failing this challenge, and you can always try it again.

3. Jugger Nog

Jugger Nog

The Jugger Nog perk is by far the easiest soda you can gain for free in  MW3  Zombies. All you need to do is go to the above location and then bring a Molotov or a Thermite with you. Throw the ignition tool to the campfire you see in the middle, and the perk is yours. GGs.

4. PHD Flopper

Free Perks in MW3 Zombies FHD Flopper

The PHD Flopper perk allows for blasting damage whenever you dive. And to gain this soda for free, you’ll need to do the exact same thing: diving. Go to the location above behind the Shahin Manor, and you’ll find a pool with Mister Peeks doll sitting beside it. Go to the rooftop of its nearby house, and then dive into the pool beside Mister Peeks to gain the free PHD Flopper perk in MWZ –  MW3  Zombies.

5. Quick Revive

Self-Revive Perk

Mister Peeks has designed all these challenges in the Dark Aether era of Call of Duty Zombies story, telling you to dive, jump through the rings, and race! For the Quick Revive perk’s free challenge in MWZ, you’d have to go to the location above with a vehicle and wait for Mister Peeks to laugh. Then, put the pedal to the metal and go straight through the freeway until you reach the signs. It’s a 10-second or less race that’ll drop a free perk for you. However, if you go too slow on reaching the checkpoint, you’ll lose.

6. Speed Cola

Speed Cola MWZ

A statue of a big bird is on the northwest side of the MWZ Urzikestan map marked on the image above. Go there, and you’ll find Mister Peeks sitting on top of the statue. In fact, it’s sitting there to see some exciting action from you. Bring a vehicle, and jump off the statue’s head to earn your free Speed Cola perk in  MW3  Zombies.

7. Stamin-Up

Free Perks in MW3 Zombies - Stamin-Up

Near the level 2 threat zone of the map, you’ll find a square that has tall buildings around it. Go to the exact building marked on the location above, and you’ll find two ways to get upstairs: a zipline and the stairs. Of course, the game doesn’t just offer you the free perk by taking the easy way, so you’d have to run 15 floors to the top, and you’ll have a Stamin-Up perk for your well-trained operator.

8. Tombstone Soda

Tombstone Perk MWZ

Ready for a jump scare? Bring a sniper rifle and go to the exact location marked on the map above in the construction sites. Now, position yourself in front of the crane and aim for its near-top location to find Mister Peeks. Ping it, and Peeks will jump at you! Happy new perk.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3  is currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

PhD Flopper

The subject of this article appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

PhD Flopper HUD icon MotD BOII

PhD Flopper , fully known as PhD Flopper Soda [1] is a Perk-a-Cola featured in Zombies . It was introduced along with Stamin-Up in the map Ascension and returns in Call of the Dead, Shangri-La , Moon , Cell Block and Origins . PhD Flopper also makes an appearance in part as a Persistent Upgrade on Buried as well as an unobtainable Easter Egg on the maps Die Rise , Mob of the Dead , and Blood of the Dead .

Due to the sliding move replacing the "Dolphin Dive" move, as well as the Danger Closest and Slaughter Slide Gobblegums which are similar effects to PhD Flopper, the perk is completely absent in Black Ops III . In Ascension , Shangri-La , Moon , and Origins , it is replaced by Widow's Wine in Black Ops III .

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III , PhD Flopper replaces PhD Slider from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War .

Overview [ ]

The Perk-a-Cola costs 2000 points and features a dark blue and purple color scheme, though primarily purple. Its icon displays a radiation trefoil emitting shock waves. PhD Flopper completely negates self-inflicted damage; however, the player will still groan and suffer temporary movement reduction when falling down from an elevated area. Another feature of this perk is that when players dive to prone from a height from which they would normally take damage, a 7.5 meter radius explosion is created upon landing.

The explosion is very powerful, with a maximum of 5000 damage at the center of the blast, and can kill zombies with one hit up to approximately round 20. Between rounds 20 to 30, PhD Flopper will begin to make crawlers, and on rounds beyond 30, zombies will retain their legs even in the center of the blast. The perk is made from prunes and some types of chemicals. However, as this is an explosive "weapon", it should be noted that the player only receives 50 points per kill, when opposed to the 60 points that are acquired by using a bullet firing weapon, so using a gun would be advised if the player is going to buy something, such as other Perk-a-Colas. This perk does not seem to work when diving right on top of multiple zombies. It should also be noted when "flopping" that landing on a prone player while diving to prone will cause both players to be downed instantly, so one should avoid other teammates while diving.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III , PhD Flopper also negates the effects of fire, gas, and self-explosion damage, and no longer requires the player to dive from a height in order to trigger an explosion.

Locations [ ]

Call of duty: black ops [ ].

  • Ascension - In the room by Lunar Lander Д (closest to MP5K ), with the grenades available to purchase off the nearby wall. Can also be obtained from a Random Perk Bottle by finishing a Space Monkey round without having any machines attacked.

  • Shangri-La - Will spawn randomly in the mines. (changes spawn with Stamin-Up , Double Tap and Deadshot Daiquiri ). Can also be obtained from a Random Perk Bottle by killing a zombie monkey as it cycles the power-up after it steals one.

  • Cell Block - Found in the corner of the library, in the same location as the Olympia . Next to the spawn room in Mob of the Dead.
  • Buried - Available as one of the Persistent Upgrades by taking a sufficient amount of fall damage repeatedly (Note that it does not protect the player from over-cooked grenades or fall damage). Not physically available nor is obtained from a Random Perk Bottle, which is achieved by killing all the Ghosts after traversing trough the mansion.
  • Origins - Obtained via the Der Wunderfizz machine. Not physically available.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 [ ]

  • Blood of the Dead - In the same place found in Mob of the Dead.

Appearance [ ]

The PhD Flopper machine is very thin, similar to that of Widow's Wine , and is covered in blood. It has a yellow paint job (which later changes to purple) on the front of the machine. There are four levers, from up to down, coloured red, green, white and purple. Under them, a bottle dispenser with a coffee cup in it can be seen. Under that, the words "Flopper PhD" can also be seen. On the top of the machine, the PhD Flopper shield can be seen, with several rods with yellow spheres stick out of it.

Call of Duty Online [ ]

PhD Flopper appears in Cyborg Rising mode of Call of Duty Online , translated as Armor Cola . It is exclusive to the character Sergeant , and is awarded to the player after surviving three rounds.

The Perk-a-Colas provide a boost to your character while out on the mission, and each one gives you a different perk that can help you along your journey. Most of the time you find them by completing contracts or stumbling across Perk-a-Cola machines, but there is a guaranteed way to get them all in MW3 Zombies.

How To Get Free Perks in MW3 Zombies

MW3 Zombies Perk-a-cola

To get free perks in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, you’ll need to keep an eye out for Mister Peeks. This blue stuffed rabbit has been at the center of plenty of Call of Duty Zombies Easter Eggs over the years, and this mysterious toy returns in MW3 Zombies to let players know something special is nearby. You’ll need to solve a puzzle to unlock the free Perk-a-Cola , but it will guarantee you the perk every time. You can also stack these perks, so once you’ve acquired one, you can then go search for another.

After you exfil the map , the perks will be removed and you’ll need to acquire them again the next time you go in. But after you’ve done it once, you’ll find it much easier the next mission you’re looking for free perks.

All Free Perks in MW3 Zombies

MW3 Free Perks Map

There are 8 free perks you can find across the Zombies map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This includes Deadshot Daiqruri, Death Perception, Juggernog, PHD Flopper, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Stamin-Up, and Tombstone. Each one will provide you with a unique benefit that you can either drink or stow in your backpack. Here is a breakdown of where you can find them all.

Free Deadshot Daiquiri Perk

MW3 Zombies Deadshot Daiquiri Church

Deadshot Daiquiri – Aiming down sight moves to enemy critical location. Increase enemy critical damage.

To get the Deadshot Daiquiri perk travel to I3 on the map to the church. From the outside on the north, look at the roof and you notice a series of windows. You have to throw a grenade through the very top window opening – not at the group of four windows . Once a grenade has gone through, a reward rift will spawn with the Deadshot Daiquiri.

MW3 Zombies Deadshot Daiquiri Slab

The good news is if you miss the grenade throw, there is an ammo station on the south side of the church. I used this to refill my throwables if I miss the window. There’s also a concrete slab nearby that you can stand on if you’re looking to get some extra height.

Free Death Perception Perk

MW3 Zombies Death Perception Art

Death Perception – Obscured enemies, chests, resources, and item drops are keylined.

To get the Death Perception perk you have to head over to E2 on the map , where you’ll find an art installation with three rings. Parachute through the middle of these three rings and a reward rift will spawn with the Death Perception perk.

MW3 Zombies Death Perception Smoke Stack

The easiest way I found to do this is by heading over to the smoke-stack-style buildings to the north. Climb up to the very top of one of these and then parachute down to the rings structure.

Free Juggernog Perk

MW3 Zombies Juggernog fire

Juggernog – Increase max health.

The Juggernog perk can be a tough one to grab if you’re not kitted up, because it is located in the medium threat zone. You also need to have a Molotov on you, so make sure that you’ve got one before you try to get the free Juggernog Perk. You’ll find this perk on the map at C3 , where there is a small camp set up, and Mister Peeks sitting on a chair enjoying a break. Throw the Molotov on the unlit campfire, and a reward rift will spawn with the Juggernog Can.

Free PHD Flopper Perk

MW3 Zombies PHD Flopper Pool

PHD Flopper – Dive to prone triggers an explosion. The Explosion increases the higher you fall. Immunity from fall damage while diving and player weapon explosive damage.

To find the free PHD Flopper perk, go to the building at H7 with the pool . Head to the roof and climb up to the highest point of the building. You need to jump from the top of this roof into the pool. Sounds easy, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t pancake onto the ground.

I suggest you back up as far as you can to get a good amount of speed. Make sure you double-tap the run button and put yourself into a full tactical sprint. Once you get to the very edge of the ledge, hit the dive/prone button to dolphin dive off of the edge and into the water. A reward rift will spawn in the pool where you can then grab the PHD Flopper perk.

Free Quick Revive Perk

MW3 Zombies Quick Revive Highway

Quick Revive – Reduce the health regen delay time by 50%. Reduce the time it takes to revive an ally by 50%.

To get the Quick Revive perk you’ll need an ATV as speed is important to get this one. Once you’ve got an ATV, go to the highway at H5 , which is just slightly southwest of the Hadiqa Farms . Head to the sign on the highway, if you look carefully you can see Mister Peeks casually sitting on top. Wait below the sign, and you’ll hear a laughing sound clip play, once that happens quickly race to the north on the ATV, and head to the next sign on the highway. A reward rift will spawn with the Quick Revive Can inside.

Free Speed Cola Perk

MW3 Zombies Speed Cola Bird Statue

Speed Cola – Reload and replate armor faster.

The Speed Cola perk is a great upgrade to have with you, but you’ll need to venture into the medium threat zone to get it. For this one, you have to have a vehicle, so try to grab one before you’re ready to go. The location you want is right on the edge of D2 / C2 , just near the main road and railway tracks. There is a bird-like structure in this area that you need to drive your vehicle over, and land on the road below. Once you hit the ground a reward rift will spawn with the Speed Cola Can inside.

Free Stamin-Up Perk

MW3 Zombies Stamin-Up Stairs

Stamin-Up – Increase run and sprint speed.

The Stamin-up Perk is a big upgrade you’ll want to grab if you’re near D7 on the map . Head over to the tall building in this area – you’ll know you’re in the right building as Mister Peeks will be at the base of the steps in the stairwell . You need to sprint from the base of the building, and up to the top floor. Once you’ve done this a reward rift will spawn with the Stamin-Up Can to grab.

Free Tombstone Perk

MW3 Zombies Tombstone crane

Tombstone – On death create a Tombstone Stash at that location containing your rucksack inventory in the next game.

The Tombstone perk can be found on the southside of the map in G8 . I recommend you grab a sniper with a scope before you get here or you might waste a bit of time searching the area. You’re looking for a yellow crane on the edge of the map to the south. If you look through toward the crane with the scope of the sniper, about half the way up it you’ll see Mister Peeks. Steady the scope on Mister Peeks using the hold breath button, and then after a few moments that pesky rabbit will try to scare you by teleporting right up into your face. Once that happens a reward rift will spawn next to you with the Tombstone Can.

All Free Perks in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

All Free Perk Locations in MW3 Zombies (Mister Peeks Easter Eggs)

Image of Kristina Ebanez

The adorable Mister Peeks has graced us with an abundance of free Perk-a-Colas, making it easier to survive the long fight. But since they can be hard to find, we’ll show you all free perk locations in MW3 Zombies and what you need to do to unlock them.

How to Get Free Perk Easter Eggs in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

The MW3 Zombies free Perk-a-Colas require players to perform a specific task near Mister Peeks, who will appear as a bloodied stuffed bunny-rabbit. You’ll typically hear his laugh next to these locations, indicating that you are in the correct area. If you want to plan out your search, you can utilize this map from Reddit user otnssnto:

Locations of free perks in MW3 (until now ) by u/otnssnto in CODZombies

For a complete overview, we’ll go over each of them in detail by showing you how to complete their corresponding tasks.

Free PhD Flopper Perk Location

Free PHD Flopper Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

At the rooftop of Shahin Manor (H7 coordinates), you must jump off it with your parachute or Dolphin Dive to reach the backyard pool .

You’ll know you’ve done the right thing when you hear a laugh, resulting in a Reward Rift for the item.

Free Death Perception Perk Location

Players can travel to the Sorokin Industrial at the E1 coordinates near Popov Power to discover the Death Perception Easter Egg. You’ll need to go up the smokestack on the far left side , at the top floor.

Smokestack in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

Once you are at the top, you can look for a structure with three rings , which you’ll need to go through without touching them using your parachute (jump off the smokestack.) Then, when you touch the ground, the Reward Rift will appear with the Perk-a-Cola.

If you want an idea of how to go through the three rings, you can use this video as an example:

Free Deadshot Daquiri Perk Location

Free Deadshot Daquiri Perk Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

At the I3 coordinates near Orlov Military Base , you should come across a church with the Deadshot Daquiri Easter Egg. It would help if you stood on top of the gravestone on the side of the structure to throw a Semtex in the window on the top floor .

Throwing a Semtex for the free Deadshot Daquirir Perk in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

I recommend equipping the Semtex with your gear so you don’t have to search for this equipment. It’s also best not to throw the grenade directly in the window since it probably won’t be able to reach inside through this method. Instead, you can aim a bit higher until the Reward Rift appears. But if things don’t work out, you can restock your ammo with the nearby Ammo Cache.

Free Speed Cola Perk Location

Free Speed Cola Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

Near Legacy’s Fortress (D2 coordinates), you’ll come across a bird statue , which you’ll need to use a vehicle to get over the ramp for the MW3 Zombies task.

Once you get close enough, you must follow the arrow and launch your vehicle off it , resulting in the appearance of the Reward Rift shortly after.

Free Jugger-Nog Perk Location

Free Jugger-Nog Perk Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

The Jugger-Nog Easter Egg can be found at the C3 coordinates near a hub of buildings ( make sure to have a Molotov Cocktail .) You’ll know you’re in the right area when you see a big red sign for a cafe and restaurant, where you must search for a campfire .

When you spot the unlit campfire, you’ll need to throw a Molotov Cocktail to light it up and earn the Perk-a-Cola.

Free Quick Revive Perk Location

Free Quick Revive Perk Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

The Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Quick Revive Easter Egg requires you to get an ATV , as other car types do not have enough speed for this specific task. Once you acquire one, head over to Hadiqa Farms to go under one of the signs and start driving to the other set of signs once you hear a laugh from Mister Peeks . Based on my experience, it doesn’t necessarily matter which one you go under, but you may need to start at the one that doesn’t have Mister Peeks.

As long as you are fast enough between those two points, you should receive a Reward Rift immediately after. Those who want an idea of how to get the free Quick Revive perk can check out the video below:

Free Stamin-Up Perk Location

For the Stamin-Up Easter Egg, you can travel to Zaravan City to find a staircase (with Mister Peeks) at the D7 coordinates . From there, you can drop one of your weapons to be hands-free and start going up the stairs at a fast rate .

A few zombies will interrupt your progress, but you can quickly use your other gun to eliminate them, as this worked for me. Once you reach the 15th floor (the top), you’ll be granted a free Perk-a-Cola.

Free Tombstone Perk Location

Free Tombstone Perk Location in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

The free Tombstone perk can be found on top of a building between Zaravan Suburbs and Shahin Manor . However, you will need a sniper with a long-distance scope for this specific task. Players can either start the match with this gun or find one while there and then start heading up to the top of this construction site .

Now, you must zoom in on the yellow tower in front of you and ping the Mister Peeks bunny figure . This will result in a jumpscare and provide you with the Perk-a-Cola. But, as always, if you need assistance, you can check out the video below to see how to do it.

The free Elemental Pop perk is the only Easter Egg that hasn’t been discovered, but some say it may be located in the High Threat level zone. We’ll be sure to update this guide once it’s been found.

That covers everything you need to know about the free perk locations in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies . For more content, be sure to explore the relevant links below, including how to get the Ray Gun .

COD MW3 Zombies: All Free Perk Easter Egg locations

  • Author: Dave Aubrey

Call of Duty : Modern Warfare III has an expansive Zombies mode it’s dubbing MWZ for short. MW3’s Zombies takes place on the wide open map of Urzikstan, meaning it’s a bit more large, and a bit less focused than previous entries.

Still, that doesn’t mean the usual Zombies staples aren’t here. Yes, you can load up on free perks as long as you complete some pretty harmless Easter Egg challenges. Each challenge is marked by a ragged toy rabbit, and completing different tasks will unlock reward portals that always hold specific perk cans. If you’re doing a solo run and manage to acquire all of the perk cans before moving into the High Threat Zone, you’ll be in an amazing position to survive.

For everything you need to know to get all of the free perks in MWZ, just read through our Easter Egg breakdown below.

Free Death Perception Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

On the North side of the map you’ll find a factory with two large smokestacks on either side. For this Easter Egg we’ll need to climb the West stack.

Once at the top took Southeast to the large sculpture with three rings. You’ll need to jump, parachute, and fly through each of the rings without touching the ground.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (11)

Get the right angle and you can glide straight through the three rings while turning to the left.

This will spawn the reward portal wherever you land.

Free Elemental Pop Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

As of right now the location of the Easter Egg that leads to the free Elemental Pop perk is unknown. It’s possible that it doesn’t exist, but given there’s a method for every other perk, that seems unlikely. We’ll update this guide when we can confirm a method that works.

Free Jugger-Nog Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (14)

Located on the West side of the map, you’ll need a Molotov Cocktail to complete this Easter Egg.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (12)

All you need to do is throw the Molotov onto the burnt-out bonfire which the toy bunny is sitting near, this will spawn the reward portal.

Free PHD Flopper Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

This Easter Egg can be found at Shahin Manor. The toy bunny will be sitting by the pool.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (5)

All you need to do is climb to the roof of the manor and swan dive from the roof into the pool. Do it successfully and you’ll spawn the reward portal. Do it unsuccessfully, and you’ll probably take some damage.

Free Quick Revive Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (3)

For this one you’ll need to find an ATV and get to the ring road just Southwest of Hadiqa Farms.

cod mw3 atv glhf

There are two large overhead signs in this area, both of which have a toy rabbit on the top. You’ll need to park your ATV under the North sign while facing South. Park directly under where the toy rabbit is and you’ll hear a ghoulish cackle – this is your green light to race to the other sign.

cod mw3 reward portal

Do it fast enough and you’ll earn a reward portal with the Quick Revive can inside.

Free Speed Cola Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

There’s a big bird sculpture that you can clearly see on the map if you zoom into the Northwest corner of the Medium Threat zone.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (15)

All you need to do is use it as a ramp and land on the road just below. If you clear the road, you won’t get the reward portal, so don’t go too fast.

Free Stamin-Up Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

cod mw3 staminu up glhf

This might be one of the easier ones to get – all you need is to have your hands free, and find the right building in Zaravan City.

cod mw3 zaravan city

Find the tall building near the roundabout with blue stripes on it, and then head to the stairwell to find the toy rabbit at the bottom of the stairs.

cod mw3 stamin up portal

This is a race against time, so unequip your weapon and sprint up the stairs. If you do it fast enough, you’ll unlock a reward portal when you reach the roof.

Free Tombstone Soda Easter Egg – MW3 Zombies

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (9)

This is located really close to where you’ll get the PHD Flopper perk Easter Egg, so you can potentially get both at the same time.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (8)

In the area marked on the map above, West of Shahin Manor, stand on the building under construction – it’s the East-most building in this area – and aim at the yellow crane to the Southwest.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (6)

You’ll need a weapon with a zoomed scope for this – you need to place a ping on the toy rabbit that’s sat on the crane, just above the top platform, to the right side. We’re aiming directly at the toy rabbit in the pic above.

cod mw3 mwz zombies perk locations (4)

Do this correctly and you’ll get a surprise, in addition to the Tombstone Soda can from the reward portal.

Black Ops 2 Zombies Guide: PhD Flopper Permaperk

Here’s how to get the PhD Flopper permaperk in the new Zombies map, Buried.

PhD Flopper is a permaperk that can only be attained in the new Zombies map for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Buried. As a hidden permaperk, the only way to get it is to jump from a certain distance and take fall damage. It’s a recreation of the sort of perk that you’d pick up at the Perk-a-Cola dispenser.

Watch the video if you want to find out how to get the PhD Flopper. You’ll notice a green flash when you take fall damage.

As you may have already known, Buried is the new Zombies map that comes in the Vengeance DLC pack. You can take a look at the map, along with gameplay footage here .

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance is out today on the Xbox 360. It’ll be a month before it comes out on the PC and PlayStation 3 due to an exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft.

How to Complete PHD Flopper Explosions Weekly Challenge in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

Home » Call of Duty MW3 » PHD Flopper Explosions Weekly Challenge in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

The first week of Modern Warfare 3 launch gave us a weekly challenge that demands players get 30 kills with PHD Flopper Explosions in MW3 Zombies mode. This new game mode brought in several new mechanics and you might be confused by what you’re supposed to do here. One of them are this soda drinks you can find in loot caches or buy at special festival shops. Once you consume these drinks you’ll get a special buff. PHD Flopper is one of those drinks. Let me quickly explain what you need to do to finish your weekly or daily challenge involving PHD Flopper explosions in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies.

How to do 30 Zombie Kills With PHD Flopper Explosions?

PHD Flopper is a buff drink that, when consumed, triggers and explosion when you dive to prone. What this means is that you have to run and press and hold crouch, by default, while running to dive into the prone stance. If you drank the PHD Flopper beforehand this will trigger an explosion that damages surrounding enemies. PHD Flopper explosions increase in strength the higher you fall. This means that if you dive to prone from a top of the building the explosion will be massive. Also, while under the influence of this buff, you get no fall damage while diving and your explosion does not affect you.

I did this challenge by attracting the attention of a bunch of zombies and climbing on top of a nearby wall. I would than run on top of the wall and press crouch facing the zombie mob that would be bellow me. I would dive into prone among them and explode. It took several tries to get enough to complete the challenge. Do note tthat as soon as you land and explode you need to get up and start running. Otherwise, those zombies you didn’t kill will rip you to shreds.

How to get the PHD Flopper Can in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?

You can find PHD Flopper can in finished contract reward portals or in rare loot caches. You can also get it as a reward from one of the first MW3 zombies missions. The easiest way though is to look at the map for an icon with a nuclear sign on it. When you hover over it it should say PHD Flopper. This is a special vendor kiosk that you can buy the buff from for that single deployment. I believe it costs 2000 aether. If you get this soda can as a drop before this daily you might want to exfil with it. This will keep it in your acquisitions and you can bring it with you to a deployment once PHD Flopper Explosions daily/weekly challenge happens again.

Similar buff was obtrainable in “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War”. It was a PhD slider you got from a perk machine.
