Apple is my favourite because it is a delicious and nutritious fruit. It comes in different sizes, varieties and colours. The red and yellow apple is the most popular type. My favourite one is the green apple because it is tangy and flavourful. One of the characteristic features of apples is that they are one of the most abundant fruit trees in the cold climate; hence, they are available throughout the year. Apples are highly nutritious and contain different types of vitamins and minerals. They are rich in Vitamin C and Iron, which makes them an immunity-boosting fruit. Besides eating them raw, apples can be used to make milkshakes, puddings, pies, and cakes. This fruit will always be my favourite because it is the best!

Short essays on mangoes are more fun to write when they are your favourite fruit. Here is how to write a paragraph on ‘My Favourite Fruit – Mango’:

Mango is my favourite fruit. It is sweet and sometimes tangy but always delicious. This fruit is only available during the summer months, which makes it even better because of its scarcity. While mangoes are sweet to taste, they are rich in Vitamins A, C, and D. Mango is the national fruit of our country and is also called the King of fruits.

Hundreds of mango varieties are in the market, and one season is not enough to taste them all! They have subtle differences in flavour and texture, but mangoes are my favourite. I love mangoes because they always make my day. I look forward eagerly to every summer just for the mangoes!

Essay On My Favourite Fruit In 100 Words

Strawberries are also popular among children because of their flavour. Here is a short my favourite fruit essay in English:

The strawberry is my favourite fruit and also my favourite flavour. Strawberries are tiny, reddish fruits that are highly flavourful and juicy. Strawberries soften and sweeten as they ripen. They are often grown during summers worldwide but are also available yearly because of their popularity. Strawberries are often used for garnishing cakes and desserts. I love eating strawberries whole, and my breakfast is never complete without this fruit!

A long essay on this topic can delve into the fruit’s nutritional value and the child’s thoughts about it. Here’s how you can write an essay on the subject for Class 3:

Oranges are my favourite because of their sweet citrus taste. They are available from the end of the monsoon to late spring every year.    Oranges are green in colour before they become ripe. As their colour changes, they become sweeter and lose much of their strong citrus flavour. It is possible to find more than 600 varieties of oranges worldwide. The Nagpur orange is the most famous.

The region grows the country’s best oranges. I always eat one for breakfast and two more during the day during the orange season. I also like to drink fresh orange juice after a long day of playing outside.    Drinking orange juice is refreshing, and it instantly energises me. Oranges are packed with Vitamin C, which makes them the perfect immunity-boosting fruit for me.

I always ask for oranges when I come down with a cold since the vitamin C in them helps to fight the infection. After the end of every orange season, I wait eagerly for the next season to taste these tangy fruits again!

write an essay on apple fruit

106. English Essay Example on: My Favourite Fruit

My favourite fruit.

My favourite fruit is an apple. It is sweet and delicious. It is a health-giving. It is good disease-fighter. People say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. It means eating an apple every day ensures a healthy life, a life free from ills and ails.

Now apples are of many sizes. Their varieties are also numberless. The apples of Kashmir are world famous. But the apples from Kotgarh, a place in Himachal Pradesh, are superb and worth-chewing. Simla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, is said to be the queen of hills and the Kotgarh apple is the best of all the apples of the world. It is highly juicy. It is extremely sweet. It is exceptionally good to look at. It is simply charming.  It is as beautiful as all the orchards of Pradesh.

Now an apple can be eaten and chewed. Its juice can be extracted. A tooth bite of it is exhilarating. It is a good exercise for the gums and the teeth. It gives good mastication (chewing). It helps remove many ills of the mouth and the stomach. The health experts advise its taking in any form. Its jam is no less tasty. Apple jams and jellies are easily available in the market. Even at home, you can prepare a good amount of apple jam. Children apply it to their bread and munch it tastefully. Eating of an apple at breakfast table when you are empty stomach is the best. Its food value is simply wonderful.

It has plenty of iron and calcium in it. As soon as you cut it and leave it for a while, you will find the internal layers getting ‘brown’ which is a sure shot sign of its having iron. Unlike other many fruits, it is taken as a whole. Nothing of it goes waste. You may or you may not peel it. It is your liking. A mango, no doubt is sweet and juicy but it has a lot of roughage. Its upper layer and the big inner part are’ not eaten. They are thrown away. But this is not the case with an apple. Its uses are many. Its price is small. It is my choicest fruit. I love to eat it.

What to See in N.Y.C. Galleries in August

This week in Newly Reviewed, Walker Mimms covers the overlooked artist Ker-Xavier Roussel, Fritz Scholder’s paintings and a group show in a modest office-like space.

Upper East Side

Ker-Xavier Roussel

Through Aug. 23. Michael Werner Gallery, 4 East 77th Street, Manhattan; 212-988-1623; michaelwerner.com .

A painting, in blazing orange, of nymphs guarding an apple-bearing tree from a dragon-like creature.

The debate around whether modernity has killed imagination is up to you, but the question is posed with urgency and sugary elegance in the 44 paintings and drawings on view at Michael Werner by Ker-Xavier Roussel (1867-1944), an overlooked French painter of the Nabis school.

The Nabis named themselves after the Hebrew “navis,” for “prophets,” and Roussel’s broad array of neon forms here, like Édouard Vuillard’s, presage abstraction and the allegories of Bob Thompson. The shocker is that as the 20th-century quote-unquote modernized, Roussel persisted in painting Greek mythological scenes, a brand of escapism that peaked back in the 18th century, with a spontaneity that made these tales new.

On a slice of cardboard circa 1910, Roussel painted Acis and Galatea in a loving embrace, in a propulsive low-perspective “X” composition that feels both erotic but also doomed once you discover Galatea’s spurned admirer, the killer Cyclops Polyphemus, advancing from the valley above.
